Altered Clocks Project

Time running out? Cast away all time constraits and turn a clock into a fun, peaceful, wintery scene instead of that annoying tick-tock.   DT member Roni shows how to turn old alarm clocks & desk clocks into beautiful pieces of art.  Can you say, cute handmade gifts? Remember the clocks that you open a brass latch and fold it into a triangle to sit on a desk?  Well, Roni takes a few rubber stamps, a little paint, tissue paper and some glitter & mica snowflakes to make these 3 awesome altered art pieces.  Enjoy this special, interactive tutorial.  Also, be sure to follow our Blog & Facebook to hear about the newest contest announcements! Hint: There's a snowman contest coming up soon :-) Be sure to leave a comment HERE to be entered!

  5. OMG what an amazing idea to upcycle these old clocks. I do not have any of these clocks, however I must have something around here to put this idea to use. Thank you so much for sharing, Roni. These snowmen are the most adorable stamps, love the stitched look to them.
